Abstract

This article details the remarks the author made on the Jewish high holy days to a local congregation. The remarks follow the lives of several baseball players who were Jewish and faced with the dilemma of playing on two of the most important Jewish holidays.The author's remarks about the decisions of the baseball players are examples of the personal choices made by many people and how those choices should be bring peace.
